The ages of our little guests ranged from 1 to 3 years of age. So I thought the perfect activities would be some easy crafts for all ages. On our Clifford’s Craft Table I had placed a coloring sheet, markers, crayons, stickers, and bean shaker for each of our little guests.
The bean shakers were made from Crystal Light plastic containers that I have been saving. (Did you know they are also the perfect holder for lollipop sticks?!) I added some dry beans, taped down the lid, and wrapped them in red construction paper. Each little guest had their own shaker with their name on it that they decorated with stickers. They had a blast making music with them and it was a fun take home gift! I had also made Clifford ear hats out of construction paper for them to wear.
One of my favorite parts of the party was the "Clifford's Birthday Party" book that guests were able to sign. We have the perfect little reminder of her big red birthday party!
The BIGGEST project from her birthday party was the fabulous big red 3 pinata! I love the way it turned out - even if it did take me about 6 hours to put it together! I was surfing Pinterest for party ideas and came across a DIY number pinata from Oh Happy Day. Perfect! My pinata was taller than the birthday girl - over 3 feet. Below are some under construction photos.
We filled the inside with the birthday girl’s favorite treats – Reese’s peanut butter cups, Kit Kat bars, and lollipops. The kids and adults had fun hitting the pinata! During the party the birthday girl wore a custom shirt from Addie Kakes Kreation.
If you missed part 1 you can see it here. Thank for letting me share our special day with you!
